Following the completion of a law degree at the University of Utrecht, I joined a multinational publishing firm and later moved into recruitment for companies in the fmcg sector. During this time I developed expertise in marketing, project and process management.
I have developed my teaching methodology through instructing International and Business Law students attending the University of Utrecht as well as by providing language courses to a broad spectrum of organisations including law firms and consumer products companies.
This professional experience combined with the successful completion of the Nima A marketing exam, two years of management training, and the Masterclass Coaching program enables me to quickly understand client-specific business processes, daily tasks and areas of responsibility. The benefit is the clear identification of the client’s learning objectives, which makes it possible to design targeted programs. For that reason there is no fixed program or lesson material before the start of the course. I will choose for each lesson the most suitable lesson material, depending on your level and personal goals and wishes.
A considerable part of the lesson material has been created by myself and is now also being used by other renowned language institutes. The programs could include presentation skills and negotiating techniques.
I use the communicative lesson method in which the emphasis lies in conversational skills. If it’s important for you to focus on other specific skills, like writing, then we will concentrate on that. Grammar will be part of the course, but learning to communicate is key.
